(More customer reviews)These pedals are surprisingly lightweight and are perfect with toeclips. I put a pair on my hybrid bike and they work will. My feet are wider and these have ½ inch or so of extra width that works great for me. This also makes the toeclip entry wider. I can easily slip my foot into the clip without looking, thanks to these pedals. These pedals are almost all alloy. I didn't know the exact weight when I ordered them, and expected them to be heavy when I took them out of the box. Amazingly they are lighter than the pedals I removed. Just 293g. Very pleased with these.
