(More customer reviews)The Schwinn 700c Comfort/Hybrid Tire with Kevlar seems to be a good tire for casual use. My wife's bike came with rather knobby tires and always rode with a 'buzz' in the saddle. This tire is silky smooth. At the low end of the pressure range the ride is comfortable. At the high end of the pressure range the handling is quick, the ride is firm and the tire tracks well.
My reason for dropping the rating from a 5 to a 4 is the product description. This Product Description contained the phrase, Master Carton of 2. None of the other tires in the 700c x 38 size range make any mention of quantity. Consider that phrase and then note that all of the other tires in this size have a shipping weight of 1 pound - yet this package weighs 2 pounds. I concluded that there would be two tires in the Master Carton of 2. And the price is reasonable for 2 black wall tires shipped in one carton, as a fair portion of a product's pricing is in the packaging. But, I was wrong. I have no idea what Master Carton of 2 means, but there will be one tire shipped for the price of $15.30. It's a decent tire, and it's a heavy tire. Had there been 2 per carton, I would have purchased a second set and changed tires on my bike.
